MOVIE STUNTS WEEK let's you live out your kung fu flick fantasies by choreographing, rehearsing, and filming your very own action movie-style fight sequence! Campers will work together to conceive and choreograph never-before-seen tricks, learn safety lessons, and how to fake it for the camera. At the end of the week, we'll premier a copy of the finished scene in our first ever Focus Film Festival!

MORE ABOUT CAMP: Focus Mixed Martial Arts Summer Camp is for kids ages 3 to 13, and runs from June 25th through August 31st. Drop-off runs from 8:30am-9:00am, with open mat time for the kids who arrive early. At 9:00am we begin the first of 3 martial arts classes for the day - class varies a bit from week to week as we focus on each week's theme, but every child who attends will have covered the basics of our mixed martial arts curriculum by the end of the week. After the first class we have snack, go to the park for some outdoor play time (on Tuesday and Thursday this includes sprinklers, water guns, and whatever water-appropriate toys the kids bring), followed by lunch. After lunch, the kids have some quiet free time to digest before we begin the second class. After class we have some organized games, then snack, then our third class of the day. Pick-up runs from 2:30-3:00pm, while kids have some quiet cool-down time. On Wednesdays, we go on a field trip, which departs around 10:30am and returns just in time for the start of pick-up. On Fridays we have our dojo day, when we play lots of indoor games, review what we've learned over the week, and then eat pizza and watch a movie before our last class of the week. Parents are invited to come in for the last class so they can see what the kids have worked on over the week.
